Coronavirus (COVID-19): information and support

Booking communication support

Find out what’s important when booking communication support and how to make a booking with Action on Hearing Loss.

Making a booking

You may not need to book communication support yourself. Ask your employer or the service provider what their procedures are. Find out more about what you’re entitled to from your employer or service provider.

Communication support can be arranged through:

  • professional bodies
  • local organisations
  • public services
  • charities, including Action on Hearing Loss.

If you’re booking communication support on behalf of someone else, always check what their preferred type of support is first.

Make sure that the organisation you use supplies qualified and registered professionals. It’s also important to consider what professionals need to know before you book. Read more about working with communication professionals.
