Open and inclusive environments offering a wide range of activities to suit everyone.

Our Day Care Services are for men and women, aged 18 and over, who are deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss, and often have additional needs such as a learning disability, mental ill-health, autistic-spectrum disorders, physical disability or dementia.

We provide open and inclusive environments with a wide range of activities to suit everyone. We can help you to develop new skills and try out completely new activities that you may never have considered before.

Our highly trained and experienced staff will support you to communicate and socialise with the people around you. This will help reduce feelings of stress or isolation. Our priority is to help you enjoy and express yourself, be creative and feel part of a community.

Our day services are for people aged 18 and over who are deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss and other complex needs, such as a learning disability, mental health issues, autism spectrum disorder, physical disability or dementia. Our ‘total communication environment’ also means that we can also work with hearing people who have communication difficulties.

We provide an open and inclusive service to help people to develop new skills and try out completely new activities they may never have considered before. Our tutors work one-to-one to help people develop a personal learning programme based on their abilities, the things they enjoy and the things they want to achieve.

Sessions we can offer include:

  • ceramics
  • craft
  • woodwork
  • drama
  • life skills
  • music
  • occupational activities
  • personal development

Our services are based across various sites in Bath and we also offer activities in the local community. Our highly trained and experienced staff support people to communicate and socialise with those around them which helps to reduce feelings of stress or isolation. Our priority is to enable people to enjoy and express themselves, to be creative and feel part of their community.

St Gabriel’s Day Services (Westgate-on-Sea)

Our day services are for men and women, aged 18 and over, who are deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss, and often have additional needs such as a learning disability, mental ill-health, autistic-spectrum disorders, physical disability or dementia.

We provide open and inclusive environments with a wide range of activities to suit everyone, including:

  • Art
  • Games
  • Cooking
  • Use of our cinema lounge
  • Outdoor activities such as gardening and road safety
  • Swimming

We can help you to develop new skills and try out completely new activities that you may never have considered before. Our highly trained and experienced staff will support you to communicate and socialise with the people around you. This will help reduce feelings of stress or isolation. Our priority is to help you enjoy and express yourself, be creative and feel part of a community.

We can also offer day care services in many of our care homes.
